VR CONTROLS AREN'T SUPER COMPLICATED TO FIGURE OUT,
BUT THEY'RE ALSO NOT YOUR AVERAGE GAMING CONSOLE CONTROLLERS.
IN VIRTUAL REALITY, YOU ARE THE CONTROLLER, AND YOUR PLAY AREA IS MARKED OUT BY A BLUE GRID (LIKE THE ONE YOU SEE IN THE BACKGROUND).
YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR "REAL" HANDS ONCE YOU'VE GOT THE HEADSET ON,
SO WE RECOMMEND FAMILIARIZING YOURSELF WITH THE CONTROLS AHEAD OF TIME WITH THIS REFERENCE GUIDE BELOW:
We found this diagram online because the internet is great, so to the anonymous hero that created this diagram, you're awesome, and we thank you for your contributions.

FRIENDLY TIPS AND REMINDERS
STAY IN YOUR STATION!
In most games, your TRIGGER (3) and GRIP BUTTONS (4) act as your VIRTUAL "HANDS", and the MENU BUTTON (1) and TRACKPAD (2) are what act as your VIRTUAL "FEET." Our headsets are wireless, which allows you to move in place, but walking too far may result in accidental wall hugs. Staying inside the blue grid will avoid this hilariously common occurrence with first timers.
Your HEADSET acts as your ACTUAL HEAD in the game, which means if stuff is flying towards your face -- DUCK!!! Your movements are picked up through our motion (known as BASE STATIONS) and will relay your reactions in live time so long as you stay inside the grid lines of your VR station.
IT'S NOT REAL!
Our VIVE PRO headsets truly transport you to a different world, but only sonically and visually, NOT LITERALLY! if the experience ever gets to be overstimulating for you, just close your eyes and scream into the abyss. We'll bail you out, no questions asked.
